Supply Chain Manager

Reporting directly to the Long Branch Plant Manager and functionally to the Life Safety Division Materials Manager, the Supply Chain Manager has direct responsibility for leading and facilitating all supply chain management elements for Eaton's Life Safety Division Long Branch, NJ plant, including:
purchasing, planning, scheduling, logistics, transportation and warehouse / inventory management.
In addition to the role's functional oversight responsibilities, the Supply Chain Manager will also liaison with local and Divisional leadership to champion process and systemic continuous improvement initiatives for the supply chain function which support Life Safety Division business goals and strategies.
Essential Functions:
Coordinate, lead and facilitate all site materials management, procurement and warehousing / logistics activities; direct management and supervision of site supply chain personnelProvide functional leadership to plant supply chain personnel in areas of sales forecasting, capacity planning, production planning/scheduling, inventory management, and customer serviceCalibrate the site supply chain fulfillment model in support of maximizing responsiveness while minimizing total working capital investment; design and manage critical fulfillment processes such as (but not limited to):
PFEP, ABCQ classification, min/max replenishment processes, shop-floor Kanban, supplier integration and other pull mechanicsLeads and facilitates the plant SIOP process for RCCP and Supplier capacityFacilitates the Long Branch Plant E&O Materials Review Board (MRB)Ensures that the ongoing approaches used across the supply chain function are consistent with OpA and EBS supply chain functional criteria elements and are seamlessly tied to business goals and objectivesChampions EBS processes and methodologies within the supply chain function; sponsors continuous improvement initiatives designed to consistently move the team to the next level and which are in support of broader Eaton and LSD strategies and practicesDefines and deploys initiatives to improve the skill sets of local SCM professionalsProvides leadership and support for plant cost out activities, including negotiation etc.
Support initiatives to improve EHS culture; achieve near misses goal and comply with all regulations applicable to the business in supply chain mattersSupport and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as:
Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals and/objectivesParticipate in PROLaunch as DGC member when required on NPD and NPI initiativesOther duties, as assignedQualifications :
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor degree in business administration or equivalent from an accredited institution is required.
Minimum 2 years of supply chain experience requiredExperience in MRP, MPS, Min / Max, SIOP and other supply chain / materials management tools and processesMust be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorshipPreferred Requirements:
APICS CPIM certificationPrior experience with SAPPrior manufacturing / plant experience in supply chain in an industrial settingPrior exposure to Lean / Continuous Improvement with demonstrated resultsIntermediate-to-advanced skills in various analysis tools, such as MS ExcelEffective negotiation and vendor management skillsDemonstration of appropriate soft skills:
effective communication, interpersonal relationship and conflict management skills, with the ability to navigate the organization effectively for resultsHighly advanced analytical and cognitive skillsWorking knowledge of supply chain and materials management best practices and tacticsPosition CriteriaStrong analytical skills; ability to mine data to draw meaningful conclusions and guidance for decision-makingCollaborative, team-oriented attitude geared towards supporting Eaton's The Power of One cultureCommunication and presentation skills - both verbal and written with the ability to make necessary status updates and report-outs to management.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
