Nurse Midwife (RN) Midwifery Program Part Time Day
Description:
Provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, neonatal and intraconceptional care in accordance with written midwifery protocols, which have been approved by the institution s Medical Board, Mid-level Practitioner Section; Department of OB/GYN.
Is responsible for reporting identified safety issues such as hazardous environments (i.
e.
damaged floors/walls/ceiling tiles/unsecured areas) and medical errors, etc.
Requirements:
Licensure as a Certified Nurse Midwife/Registered Nurse by the State of New Jersey; submission of letters of recommendation from at least two other nurse and doctors familiar with his/her character, ethical practice and practice as a Nurse Midwife.
AHA BLS required.
BSN required.
Prior experience as a practicing Nurse Midwife (exceptions may be granted by the Board of Trustees under unusual circumstances) or a new graduate with appropriate credentialing.
Must meet all Medical Staff requirements for credentialing and being approved by the Mid-level Practitioner Section Credentialing Committee.
