As a Bartender at Pier Pins, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional service to our guests while creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.

Responsibilities:
Customer Service Excellence:
Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and serving beverages promptly and accurately.
Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring their satisfaction and overall enjoyment.
Mixology and Beverage Preparation:
Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following established recipes and ensuring quality and consistency.
Demonstrate expertise in mixing, garnishing, and presenting drinks with precision and creativity.
Menu Knowledge:
Possess a thorough understanding of the menu offerings, including specialty cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages.
Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and offer detailed descriptions of the available options.
Upselling and Revenue Generation:
Proactively suggest and upsell premium beverages, cocktails, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.
Promote special offers, happy hours, and events to maximize sales opportunities.
Bar Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments, and manage the cash register effectively.
Product Knowledge and Training:
Stay updated on the latest trends in mixology, new beverage releases, and industry best practices.
Attend training sessions and engage in ongoing learning to enhance knowledge and skills.
Teamwork and Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members, including servers, kitchen staff, and management, to ensure smooth operations and provide exceptional service.
Collaborate on special events and promotions to create a cohesive and enjoyable guest experience.
Responsible Alcohol Service:
Adhere to all local and state regulations regarding the sale and service of alcoholic beverages.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption, intervene as necessary, and ensure the responsible service of alcohol to all guests.
Cleanliness and Organization:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, equipment, and workstations.
Perform regular cleaning tasks and assist in restocking inventory when necessary.
Requirements:
Previous bartending experience in a fast-paced, high-volume establishment is highly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of mixology, beverage preparation, and bar operations.
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to multitask effectively and work well under pressure.
Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash transactions.
Understanding of responsible alcohol service and compliance with local regulations.
Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must be at least 21 years old.
